As we step into 2025, we are thrilled to announce that our group has appointed a new charity co-ordinator.

This role is not just a title but a commitment to making a tangible difference in our community. Over the years, Severn Business Network has supported local charities with approximately £30,000 raised since our founding. This year, we are excited to announce that Severn Hospice will be our chosen charity.

Our Vision for 2025
This year, we aim to amplify our charitable efforts and create a more significant impact. Our vision is to support Severn Hospice, an organisation that provides compassionate care and support to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses. We believe that by working together, we can address some of the most pressing issues facing our community today.

Key Initiatives and Goals
We have already hit the ground running with our fundraising plans for 2025. Here are some of the exciting events and activities we have lined up:

• Charity Bake Sale: Our first event of the year, the charity bake sale, has already raised over £100. It's a fantastic start, and we are grateful for the support from our members and the community.
• The Pontesbury Potter: This event promises to be a fun and engaging way to raise funds. Participants will explore the beautiful Pontesbury area while supporting a great cause.
• Corporate Golf Day: We support the Severn Hospice Corporate Golf Day at Hawkstone Park, bringing together business leaders and golf enthusiasts for networking and fundraising.
• The Shrewsbury Dragon Boat Race: This exciting event will see teams competing in a thrilling dragon boat race on the River Severn. It's a great way to promote teamwork and raise funds for Severn Hospice.
• Sky Dive: We have planned a skydive event for the more adventurous among us. It's an exhilarating way to support a worthy cause and experience the thrill of a lifetime.
