So it's not all about early Thursday morning meetings, breakfast and business referrals. Sometimes our members get together for good causes and have some fun!! This weekend members from Severn Business Network got together, jumped into a dragon boat and raced up and down the River Severn in the heart of sunny Shrewsbury in aid of Severn Hospice.

We warmed up with some Chi Kung courtesy of member Ben Calder from The Centre of Integral Health who got us all working together, focused and ready to win!

Competing against 40 other teams, our teamwork (and Chi Kung prep) clearly paid off as we won both of our 1st and 2nd heats... We were ready and prepared to win our third and cruise into the final.. Unfortunately due to another team capsizing a dragon boat, the organisers were short on time and teams were unable to complete the third heat and we narrowly missed out!!

A big well done to our members who took part we had a great time and we're looking forward to next year already!
