No, we weren't all mashed on amphetamines and yabbering away about nothing while cleaning the room! Our current chair, Ben, shook it all up at this mornings meeting and had us engaged in a quick-fire networking session.

It's really quite amazing how much detailed and focused information you can relay in 30 seconds flat - and it was a bit of a laugh watching 30 people scurrying frantically around the room at 715am too.

Speed networking involves talking very rapidly to numerous individuals - both relaying your offering and listening to theirs. From these very short bursts it's common to pick up a link or a potential lead of opportunity. It's then a case of following up afterwards.
