It's 15 years since the first Hometyre mobile service van first hit the roads of Shropshire - and how things have moved on since then! Back in 2003, having your tyres or replaced at home or work was a completely new concept and it took a huge amount of effort to converty motorists from the 'routine' of ringing round and then visiting a tyre centre for two or three hours!
These days the service is available to book with just a few clicks on screen or on a smart phone. Before you know it, your selected tyres arrive at your preferred location/time and a friendly technician looks after you and your vehicle!
One of the earliest forms of successful local marketing was through weekly business networking meetings in Shrewsbury. Indeed without it, the brand and service may never have got underway!
With over twenty large geographic regions covered across the UK through it's growing network of franchise operators, Hometyre now sells milions of pounds of tyres each year from as far north as Edinburgh right down to Brighton.
