The extension Nick designed blends seamlessly into the rest of our bungalow and despite being east facing has plenty of light due to the large rooflights. The sun pipes in what is now a windowless hall was a brilliant idea. Everybody comments on the lovely natural light they produce. Sandra listened carefully to our requirements when designing the kitchen and her expertise has provided us with not only a dream kitchen but also every component of it in the most easily accessible position, which is not easy in a kitchen of this size.

Throughout, the client - architect - builder relationship was excellent. So what do we now have? Well, we have an extension to our house and a redesigned ground floor of the house that never ceases to raise a 'Wow' response from our family, friends and visitors. More than that, though, we have a fantastic living space which works really well for us, which links our house with our garden and which never ceases to give us real joy and pleasure to live in.

I employed 2 Scale Architects and Designers to undertake a feasibility study initially to establish what was the best development route for a 1960's bungalow that had been in the family since construction. As architects and kitchen designers they were then commissioned to undertake the full service through to handover of the completed renovation and extensions. The end product was a complete transformation and a delight for my Father to live in, a testimony to their design, client liaison and management skills.
